The Plant Research Center (PRC) was formed to bring together research groups from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and the UT Institute of Agriculture as well as the Oak Ridge National Lab that have a common interest in understanding and applying plant biology. Members of the PRC study all aspects of plant biology, ranging from biochemical studies of ion homeostasis in plant cells to plant-pathogen interactions, to mathematical modeling of plant ecology, to targeted modification of plants for biofuel production.

The Spring 2012 Travel deadline has been reached we will make decisions shortly.
